Traditional styles on tap for summer show

Tupelo— At this month's Tupelo Furniture Market, buyers can expect to find a variety of youth furniture, with an emphasis on case goods. Many of the new collections offered at market feature traditional styling with classic Americana feel; American Lifestyles' high chairs feature a different twist on many of today's modern models, which make use of plastics and vinyl, while Vignettes' Kountry Kids group would feel at home in one of today's beautifully renovated houses. Finishes of oak, pine and warm cherry are popular, and hearken back to simpler times.
Dynamic Furniture's casual group is finished in an embossed rustic pine laminate that feels like real wood. Black handles and knobs complete the look.
American Lifestyles/Tennessee Enterprises' solid oak high chairs are finished in black and oak and have a retro design. Each model retails for $99.
Founders Furniture's traditional New Outlook bedroom group features a warm cherry finish and carved overlay accents.
Brooks Furniture is showing this glider with a roomy seat and plush tufted back cushion. The glider, also offered in a harvest maple finish, retails between $299 and $349.
Vignette's Kountry Kids group is made of veneers and solids in a hand-rubbed burnished pine finish, and it has a unisex design that easily ages with children.
