First Vegas market features plenty of juvenile

Las Vegas— Anyone who was anyone came to Vegas last month to have a look at the inaugural furniture market here, and those looking to shop for youth products found plenty to look at. With two Vegas Kids areas, along with many other manufacturers who carry a good deal of youth merchandise, the show was full of promise as an important youth market for years to come.

The Unwind club chair and a half offers a little extra room. The chair can also be customized with the addition of a glider mechanism or twin-size sleeper addition. From Best Chairs, it retails between $598 and $788.
Powell's ibedroom group is made of steel with a titanium gray powder finish, giving it a hip, contemporary look. Tempered glass drawer fronts and tops on the case goods complete the look. Retail prices range between $120 and $500.
With its warm wood tone finish, blue fabric and plaid trim, the William table lamp from J.W. Pike is an alternative to the sports-themed lamps often gear toward boys.
The Abacus rug from Company C mixes tropical hues and a geometric print. A 3-by-5 foot rug retails for $330, and it's also offered in blue and mocha.
Tradewins showed its new Echo Falls youth collection in a New Rosewood finish. The bunk retails for $399.
