Feeding products make mealtime easier

For many parents, mealtime can be a challenge, whether it's breastfeeding a newborn or eating out with a toddler. Manufacturers have responded to this, with more and more products on the market to help make mealtime a little bit easier. For those just starting out, Regal Lager's new line of Second Nature nursing tees and tanks offer convenience and style for mom, especially when she's on the go. As junior moves on to solid food, food mills, like the one shown here from KidCo, mean parents can control exactly what their baby eats, and prepare fresh, wholesome meals for him. Cutlery sets, like the ones from Tigex shown here, are helpful and designed especially for little hands. Sippy cups offer new solutions for the child who is learning to drink on his own, and Avent's new Magic Cup line features different spouts for different stages in little ones' development. And as he gets older, fun characters and colors on melamine plates mean he has his own special set of dishes, and breakage is not an issue.
These licensed SpongeBob SquarePants Table Toppers from Neat Solutions offer a clean, germ-free area for kids — especially useful in restaurants. The SpongeBob version plays a "find the object" game, intended to help the child develop pattern recognition and memory while having fun.
This dinosaur-themed melamine plate, bowl and cup set from Tatutina makes mealtime fun for little boys. The set comes in a gift box and retails for around $18.
The Magic Cup, from Avent, helps baby transition to self-feeding. The cup will neither spill nor drip; the valve opens with ease when baby is drinking and closes when he stops. A 7-ounce Magic Trainer cup is for beginners, with a soft-sip spout that is gentle enough for younger babies. The 9-ounce cup features a firmer toddler spout for teething needs, and the 12-ounce Magic Super Sport cup is for toddlers 18 months and older and features a flip-top lid and carry clip.
KidCo's food mill with carrying case features a 4-ounce serving cup, serving spoon, strainer, medical-grade stainless steel blade and carrying case. The food mill needs no electricity or batteries, and blends and purees fresh foods while separating bones, seeds, skin and other undesirable parts.
Tigex's first cutlery set features a unique curved design that little hands can grab. Available in orange or green, a set comes with a long spoon, spoon and fork (not shown), and retails for $5.99.
These deluxe bottle brushes from Munchkin are now available in cheery new colors. A special suction cup base keeps brushes upright, making them ideal for one-handed cleaning, air drying and avoiding contact with germs.
The Easy-Zip Nursing Tee from Second Nature features a simple design with double front layers for easy and discreet nursing. The upper and lower parts connect at the top to maintain an elegant shape. Available in black and white and sizes small to extra-large, it retails for $39.95. The distributor is Regal Lager.
