JPMA names 2006–07 board

The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Assn. has elected its board of directors for 2006–07.
Andy Keimach of Munchkin succeeds Bill Suvak of Child Craft as chairman. Kelly Mariotti of Green Frog Art was elected vice chairman and Tony Desimone of Fisher Price is treasurer.
Aiding the board are incoming directors Brenda Berg of Scandinavian Child and Dan Orsini of Boon Design.
Directors continuing to serve are Mary Jean Bush of Blue Ridge International Products, Michael Halak of Graco, Jeff Hutsell of Levels of Discovery, Greg Mansker of Chicco USA, Doug Oaks of Britax, Greg Schumann of BabyTalk Magazine and Tom Sparno of Evenflo., who was re-elected after replacing a member last year.
"The board brings a wide variety of experience and leadership to JPMA and the industry," said Keimach. "As we enter yet another exciting year, I am grateful to have the help of this very strong group."
Outgoing board members include Bengt Lager of Regal Lager and Freddi Finegood of BananaFish.
Andy Keimach, executive vice president of sales for Munchkin, is the new president of JPMA.
