Atlanta sizzles in style
Staff -- Kids Today, 8/1/2006
The juvenile portion of the Atlanta gift market continues its rapid growth with new permanent showroom openings and an expansion to the 14th floor of the Apparel Mart in the AmericasMart complex. Many manufacturers at last month's show, particularly textiles vendors, are keeping pace with today's trendier moms and dads and are offering baby products in deep brown shades mixed with either blue or pink. Hip prints such as toile, pucci and spirograph designs also were spotted. But the newest trend seems to be the return of polka dots, which showed up on Moses baskets, baby blankets, burp cloths, crib bedding and more.
