Serena & Lily expands

Upscale crib bedding manufacturer Serena & Lily is introducing more than a dozen youth bedding collections as well as gliders, headboards and other room accessories.
The youth bedding line is composed of 15 collections that are based on the manufacturer's most popular crib bedding groups. The collection is offered in twin through queen sizes and includes popular but classic prints such as polka dots, stripes and plaids in shades of chocolate, melon, blue chambray and more. Available linens include 100% cotton sheets sets, duvet covers, bed skirts, Euro and regular shams and dec pillows. Twin sheet sets start at $99 retail.
Serena & Lily also is delving into the furnishings category with new headboards and gliders. The upholstered headboards are covered in any of the company's fabrics and available with nailhead trim, button tufting or a smooth fabric finish.
The three styles are Ellis, which has a painted wood frame; Sutter, which features square corners and Larkin, which features a rounded shape. The headboards are available in twin through queen sizes and retail between $449 and $1,049.
The upholstered swivel-base gliders are offered in two styles, the Ashbury, $999, and the Hayes, $1,099, which has an extra-tall back cushion. The gliders are covered in upholstery-weight fabrics from the Serena & Lily line with piping along the edges.
Other new pieces include hanging and table lamps and shades, $69–169; 4′ × 6 ′and 5 ′x 8 ′rugs, $289 and $439; and coordinating wall paint and trim in 15 colors, $45 a gallon.
Serena & Lily debuted the new products at last month's New York International Gift Fair, and the line starts shipping this month.
