Attendance at last month’s ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas was up 31% over 2006, according to officials with parent company All Baby and Child.
The 2007 show featured 1,012 manufacturers in 3,035 booths throughout the two-level 750,000-square-feet exhibit halls. About 5,100 buyers representing close to 2,100 stores attended, an increase of 28% over last year. All told, total show attendance hit 12,857.
Looking ahead, All Baby and Child says that advance booth sales for the 2008 show are already at 83% of exhibit hall capacity. The Expo is set for Sept. 7-11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. As with the 2007 event, the first two days of the expo will be open only to independent specialty store owners.
