Membership made up of female entrepreneurs, executives

-- Kids Today, 11/29/2007 8:36:00 AM

Renee Pepys Lowe, president and founder of infant textiles and accessories manufacturer Cocalo, has been selected as a member of The Committee of 200.

The Committee of 200 is a non-profit association for female entrepreneurs and top female corporate leaders. The membership includes about 460 women who represent about 100 industries and who collectively oversee $100 billion annually in revenue.  The goal of the organization is to meet members’ needs in the areas of business synergies, leadership advancement, education, mentoring and recognition. The C200 Foundation, launched in 1986, is the grant-making arm that offers scholarships, education and mentoring to rising women in business.

“We are delighted to welcome Ms. Pepys Lowe as a new member of The Committee of 200,” said Amy O’Keefe, director of membership. “Renee represents the true spirit of an entrepreneur and in addition exemplifies all the qualities of a preeminent businesswoman.”
