Wall-E, the latest film from Pixar Animation Studios, doesn't hit theaters until June 27, but it's already making a splash in the juvenile products world.
Pixar, the studio that brought us The Incredibles, Cars and Ratatouille, brings Wall-E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) to life as the last robot left on earth after humans had to flee.
Manufacturers brought Wall-E to life at the recent Toy Fair and New York Home Fashions Week.
Jay Franco and Sons debuted two bedding collections, one with a photo real image of Wall-E and another with the character on a camo-like background. There is also a complete coordinating bath line with shower curtains, towels, rugs and accessories.
The Northwest Co. also is a licensor for Wall-E and rolled the character out on a variety of throws.
Delta Children's Products offered a complete furniture line featuring the character. The collection includes storage options, twin bed, a table and chair set and more. Delta incorporated technology into the group with a scrolling marquee light on the backs of the chairs so kids can customize it with their own message.
