Teacups is one of about a dozen hand-painted collections from Decorative Treasures. Each group has eight to 10 SKUs ranging from beds and night stands to lamps, mirrors, accents and more. |
The company's Carolina Kids Collection has about a dozen different themes including Once Upon a Time, Young Aviators, Teacups and Pixie Hollow. Each theme has between eight to 10 SKUs including twin beds, $1,500, table and chair sets, lamps, mirrors, toy chests, step stools and more.
Bill Vest and Karen Vest Hamilton, the children of founder Everett Vest, decided to get into the youth business because they saw a niche they could fill.
Hamilton designs the hand-painted pieces, which are made in the company's High Point factory. “We can also do custom pieces,” Bill Vest said. “For example, on the Baseball collection, we can customize it with the child's picture and team.”
