Well-known Easter egg dye vendor PAAS signed a licensing deal with gift vendor Russ Berrie, Oakland, NJ, to launch a line of PAAS-brand Easter plush and collectibles. PAAS is a subsidiary of Signature Brands, Ocala, FL. Atlanta-based licensing agency Nancy Bailey & Associates Inc. brokered the deal.
Russ Berrie will launch its collection of plush, gifts and collectibles based on PAAS characters Cotton the rabbit, Feathers the duck, Lollichop the lamb and others in time for Easter 2009. Bruce Crain, Russ Berrie president and CEO, said in a statement, “In today’s high tech world, RUSS is pleased to partner with PAAS and offer ways to help families enjoy simple traditions."
