Lea Inds., well-known for its youth furniture, is debuting its crib line at the ABC Kids Expo this month.

The company added cribs to its product lineup at the High Point Furniture Market in April.

“We're exhibiting at ABC because we want to be known by the juvenile specialty retailers,” said Earl Wang, vice president product development for Lea. “We have products now that fit their needs and we're looking to broaden the awareness of our brand in new distribution channels. Cribs were a natural extension for us, especially when we're seeing more retailers who carry youth venture into the juvenile market.”

Lea will exhibit about four of its 12 cribs, along with complementary case pieces and other bed options. The cribs are extensions of the top three selling Lea youth groups and while all have been well-received, Wang says so far the more popular finishes have been cherry, white and black.

The Spring Garden collection, which includes a metal crib in either green, pink, white or yellow, has been the most-ordered collection so far, Wang said.
