The 8 x 5' Our World rug is based on existing Oopsy Daisy art work; suggested retail is $450 for the hand-tufted, 100% wool rug.

“We talked to our key accounts and asked them what products they'd like to see from us and the feedback was overwhelming,” said Karen Capp, president of Oopsy Daisy. “They wanted products to round out the bedroom decor.”

Oopsy Daisy's lamps are available with a blue, red, white, pink or green base and a choice of 13 canvas shades. Each shade also has a pull chain charm specific to its design. The shades and charms are based on existing art work as well as patterns that coordinate with the art. There are selections for boys and girls as well as unisex designs; suggested retail is $128.

The rugs are made of 100% hand-tufted wool with a cotton backing and include two three-foot round designs; two 3 x 5 designs and an 8 x 5 design based on the Our World art, $450.

The clocks bring function and art together. The canvas clock is 11” square flanked by coordinating art on either side. Capp also added necklaces to the line, perfect gifts for 6-8 year-old girls.

The company works with about 90 artists and has more than 2,000 SKUs of art. Capp said it made sense to use that in other product categories.

“We hired a product designer this year, Carla Gray, and charged her with helping us with our product assortment,” Capp said. “People respond to the freshness of our art work and these introductions really allowed us to revitalize our line and to recapture that initial excitement and enthusiasm you feel for your product as an entrepreneur.”
