Green Frog Art has teamed with world-renowned artist Pierre H. Matisse to bring a five-piece collection of limited edition artwork to the children’s market. The grandson of Henri Matisse, Pierre is a remarkable artist whose art reflects the sense of beauty he inherited from his grandfather, his enthusiasm for life combined with a sense of wonder and whimsy.
As part of this new endeavor Green Frog Art is not only presenting these exclusive prints to the market, they have also chosen to dedicate a portion of proceeds from all sales to Kids In Distressed Situations. K.I.D.S. brings hope to over four million children in need every year by providing them with new clothes, shoes, books, toys, furnishings and baby gear.
“Art and children have always been my two passions and what better way to combine the two then Matisse and K.I.D.S.,” said Kelly Neal Mariotti, president and chief designer of Green Frog Art.
“Working with an artist of this caliber is always exciting and his work is a great addition to our industry. Adding K.I.D.S. as a benefactor was a natural fit and an opportunity to stress the importance of art in a child’s world,” she continued. “Recent research shows critical thinking skills in children are increased by looking at art, and there is no doubt that these pieces are sure to inspire the young minds of tomorrow.”
Green Frog Art will debut the Matisse artwork at the ABC Kids Expo show in Las Vegas in booth 4733. The five pieces will include two on canvas and three paper-cut reproductions printed on paper.
