MINNEAPOLIS—Manhattan Toy has promoted Mike Klein to president and CEO and Amy Reitsma to director of sales.
Klein, a nine-year veteran of the company who most recently served as chief operating officer, is now responsible for advancing the position of the company as a leader in providing products for the specialty toy and gift markets.
Klein replaces Arete Passas, who resigned as president and CEO in April after 4 years.
Amy Reitsma is now responsible for leading sales efforts in the North American market and in all international markets outside of Europe. Previously, Reitsma was manager of national accounts and channel development. She first joined Manhattan Toy in 1991.
In addition to Klein and Reitsma, Manhattan Toy’s senior management team includes Neil O’Connor, vice president of operations; Clea Korf, director of design; John Berg, director of finance; and Erica Roberts, vice president, Manhattan Toy Europe.
