Strollometer, the world's first speedometer/odometer for strollers, and StrollerFit, the nationwide stroller exercise group, have teamed up to sponsor the 2007 Million Mile Moms Challenge. From June 15 - July 15, Moms across America will attempt to collectively log a million miles of walking or jogging with a stroller.
Participants are invited to download a mileage log from either the Strollometer or StrollerFit Web sites and input the distances that they stroll each day.
Adi Weber, President and Co-founder of Strollometer, said, "There is no better role model than a fit, exercising Mom when it comes to sending a message to our kids that fitness and health go hand in hand."
StrollerFit President Mary Beth Knight said, "Strolling is the perfect way for Mom and baby to embark on a lifetime of fitness together, helping fight the childhood obesity epidemic by introducing children to the benefits of fitness from infancy."
