First Time Mothers Require Perfection For Their Babies

Until the first child comes along, the most important time in a woman's life is the time of her wedding.  Imagine how perfect every "bridezilla" wants their big day to be.  Some time after comes the time when this same woman finds that she'll be bringing new life into the world.  The expectations then climb to a whole new level.  

Every mom wants the absolute best for her baby.  She wants the perfect pregnancy.  She wants the perfect baby shower(s).  Most of all, though, she wants the perfect nursery.  She already knows that the child she carries is absolutely perfect and this child will have a perfect room.  This fact is not negotiable with a first-time expecting mother.  

I happen to agree with the perspective of the "momzilla".  A first time mother's experience should be the absolute best possible.  It's unfortunate when you have defects and damages to products they've selected for their little ones.  It's more unfortunate, however, when you have a store, an employee, or a manufacturer that does not take the customer's happiness into consideration.  

I encourage all of you to look at consumer complaints from the perspective of the expecting mother.  She wants everything to be perfect.  Did you provide perfect or near perfect (we are all human, after all) service?  Did you provide the customer with a satisfactory solution to the problem they had?  If you were this mother, would you be happy with your store, product, or service?

I have had to print this blog for my employees to help them understand how to empathise with customers. I'll keep everyone posted on how this benefits (or doesn't benefit) my sales staff.
