Atlanta Gift Show: The Pre-show Fun!
July 12, 2008

The Atlanta Gift Show is here!  We've been privileged to see some of our dear industry friends this week, as well as make new ones.  Tomorrow (Sunday) Krystal and I will be headed down to the market after church to check out the temporary vendors.  We hope to see you there!

Here are a few photos from our evening out with Kids Today and Cuddlebugs-N-Cocoons.  Enjoy!

New Baby Products, Cuddlebugs-N-Cocoons, and Kids Today enjoy dinner at a quaint local Italian spot.

My sisters, Lindsay and Krystal, are being cute while Mom is being silly.

My daughter, Kailey, showing off her New Baby Products "work shirt".  We start them young in our family.

Edward Walker, Trading Spaces & Cuddlebugs-N-Cocoons designer, enjoys spumoni with Kailey.  Not sure who enjoyed it more!

Gerri and Lisa from Kids Today are getting the scoop on the Gift Show and the New Baby Products team.

The New Baby Products girls have finally adopted a brother!  Welcome to the family, Edward!

Me, Edward, and Sandra after dinner.  I have to take this opportunity to say that Sandra, founder of Cuddlebugs-N-Cocoons, is one of the kindest, sweetest people I've ever met.  I am extremely grateful to have a friend like her in this industry.

So, that's it.  If you want to be featured in my blogs, either as a retailer or a manufacturer, the best thing you can do is come and visit!  Nothing builds networks more than face-to-face communication.  That's one reason that buying shows and industry events are so important to the development of independent/specialty stores.  Maybe I'll be seeing you soon!
