Confusing Computer Programs

For the last two days I've been trying to design a new giftcard for the store.  It had to be done in Adobe Illustrator.  Have you ever tried using that program?  It's probably a wonderful tool when you know how to use it.  Unfortunately, I do not.  I suppose this is one of those instances when it's okay to out-source.  I spent way too much time watching video tutorials and trying to teach myself.  It is a very intricate program and is not one bit self-explanatory.  Word to the wise... if you're trying to do something for your store but you have never done anything even close to it, find out the level of difficulty before you dive head first.  In the end, I'm getting my web designer to do the layout for me.  Technology wins... this time!
