Casual Fridays In Retail?
April 25, 2008

Casual Fridays are no longer casual Fridays at our store.  We have decided to enforce the uniform (work shirt and khaki pants) on Fridays.  Why?  Because Friday is one of our busiest days of the week.  We actually have casual Mondays instead.  So what is our casual Monday like?

On Mondays, our staff is allowed to wear blue jeans (nice looking, no holes or print) and either the standard work polo or a t-shirt from a manufacturer.  We often use the t-shirts as giveaways or incentives during staff meetings so most everyone has one.  We are, however, always looking for new manufacturer shirts for our staff to sport on these casual Mondays.

Many of you in the industry know my sister, Krystal.  She and her husband, James, actually own a t-shirt printing business.  If any of you manufacturers are interested in promoting your brand through t-shirts, you can e-mail Krystal at Krystal@NewBabyProducts.com.  Yes, this is a shameless plug.  Why?  Because I can.  Happy Friday, everyone!
