I Hope To See You At The Kids Today Conference!
February 20, 2008
I hope that you'll all be attending the Kids Today Conference in Savannah, GA this year. I'll be presenting a report on sustaining family businesses throughout the generations. There is one thing, though, that I'm not including in the presentation but would like to mention here. To sustain a family business and keep said business within the confines of the same family, you must procreate. There, I said it, you have to breed employees to keep up the family company. My mom says quite often that had she known that all three of her children would go into the family business, she'd have had more of us. Yeah, right.
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I hope you'll join me as I present some basic principles of sustainablity. Does your family have what it takes to stay afloat for future generations? Join me in Savannah and you can find out what has kept my family's business strong for three generations and see if you, too, have the makings of a longterm success story!
Back to my research...
(The presentation is still a work in progress but moving right along)
