What Day Is It?

I think today is Thursday but, as I'm slamming down my lunch at five o'clock, I have to wonder. Wasn't yesterday Monday? The summer break is whizzing past me at an astronomical speed. I will wake up in a couple of days and put my fourth grader on the bus. At what point is too much just too much? Do I slow down and smell the proverbial roses or do I run faster and harder to try and catch up? Some days I feel like a hamster in a wheel, running and running but not really going anywhere. Anyone in the same boat? Am I alone in my hamster wheel?

Ah Kelly, nope, you are NOT alone in that hamster wheel. This week my daughter graduated 5th grade (wasn't she just born yesterday??) and flipping through the calendar I'm looking at deadlines and upcoming shows and wondering where the summer has gone!
