Vacation Means No Work, Right?
August 6, 2007

Wrong... atleast in this family.  We've been discussing business for the majority of the short time that we've been on vacation.  We've made major decisions concerning the store and come up with some great brainstorms.  I've also tried to blog a couple of times on my brother-in-law's laptop to no avail.  The computer aspect is actually harder from a remote (and secret... don't come find me!) location.  How do the rest of you handle the technological aspect while on the road?  Are laptops and "Blackberries" the only way to stay on top of things?  I know that a good deal of you travel often.  Do you find yourself feeling disconnected from your store or business?  Is that a good thing?  I've been submerged in this industry my whole life and being detached from it seems a bit like losing a limb to me.  Am I the only one who feels this way?  (Keep the "yeses" to yourself)  :)
