Why Are You In The Juvenile Industry?
October 5, 2007

Most of you know why I am in the juvenile products industry.  Our store is what my family has built... it is our legacy.  That is why I came into the industry 12 years ago.  I, personally, decided to make this my career (several years later) because of my love for my customers and their growing families.  I believe that some of you, like me, got into this business for one reason and stayed for another.

What circumstance brought you into the juvenile products industry?  I am particularly curious about men and those of you who do not have children.  Was it a savvy business decision or an entrepreneurial opportunity?  Did you join to benefit your own growing family?  Many of you have been in the industry for a very long time.  Why is it that you've stayed?  Has this industry been that profitable for you?  Is it a true love for the family dynamic?  Or is it something completely different?

I often wonder if this blog (like my private blog) is really just a sounding board or if others are reading.  I think that answering these questions would be a great way for you to let me know who my readers are.  Please take a moment to register and log in.  Please tell me who you are, who you're with, how you came into this industry, and why you stay.  Be honest.  I just want to know if anyone is out there...

Post Script:
I was soooo  jealous when I saw that one of Lisa's blogs had 8 comments!!!  Speak up, folks!  :)
