Teutonia Stroller Reviews
June 18, 2008

The jury is back with a verdict.  All of our customers who have purchased and used their Teutonia strollers just love them!  I had one customer who said she had never had so many people approach her as she did the first time she took her new baby out in the stroller.  The customer has the 200 series frame with the pink floral carry cot.  For those of you who haven't seen these "sweet rides", you have to realize that this is a very unique and attractive stroller.

Only a handful of those who have their strollers actually have their babies, which means there is much feedback still to come.  I will keep you all posted on feedback as it trickles in but I do think that this is going to be huge next year when they open new accounts across the country.  Teutonia products are presently only available in 18 stores across the country.  (My family's store is the one in Atlanta, as shown on the map in the link.)  Most of these stores will gladly ship the products to you but if you are relatively close to a store who does have it, you must go see it in person!

I've found, in working with my customers, that the experience of designing the stroller in-store is quite enjoyable to moms, dads, and even grandparents.  Teutonia has provided these 18 stores with an interactive kiosk that allows families to take a quiz to see which stroller Teutonia recommends, explore all of the frame, fabric, and accessory options, and e-mail preferences to themselves and loved ones.  The best part about coming in the store, though, is that you can get your hands on these engineering marvels!  The employees at these 18 stores have been trained, by Teutonia, to show families all of the features and options and to help customers assess which stroller options best suit their needs.

In Atlanta, the most popular frame series has been the 100 series because of the weight.  I've heard, though, that in California, the most popular frame has been the 300 series because of the features.  If I were having a baby (which I'm not but it's always fun to play what-if), I would have a T-260.  I like the way the 200 series folds and the way it looks.  I'd have the metro wheels (#60) because they look really sharp on the 200 series frame and because I wouldn't do much heavy all-terrain strolling.  I would probably have the Cobalt Green T-Carry Cot, the Prussian Blue T-Seat with the Kelsey Denim T-Liner, and the cool little hand warmer.  It never really gets cold here, but the hand warmer is super soft!  (They need to make one just a little smaller to fit on the car steering wheel!!!)  If you haven't played on the Teutonia website, you must go check it out!  What configuration do you think you'd get?

I just received my Teutonia (blue floral carrycot, Prussian blue t-seat, 300 series chassis with explore wheels, yes we are in CA). I think that even the 300 series is totally easy to collapse and carry, it's not heavy. It was so easy to put together and is so easily to push and maneuver, I just love it. What the store didn't tell us is that the t-seat comes with a free raincover, they should mention that! I have known Teutonia for years and my family back in Europe always uses Teutonia strollers. Now we have to wait for our son to arrive in early September!
