Inventory Time Again

Just as it is nearing the deadline for personal income tax paperwork to be submitted, it is time for the stores to take inventory to file their taxes.  The last couple of weeks have been crazy as we have scrambled to insure that every aspect of each store is ready.  My biggest fear, though, is not that the stores' preparation will be insufficient.  My strongest fear is that of technical difficulties.  I've been having trouble with two of my hand-held scanners already.  This will also be our first year with someone different handling the uploading of the scanners.  I have a deep sense of dread because if anything goes wrong with the upload process, all of our inventory will have to be counted and scanned again.  One can perhaps see why I'm a little on edge today.  The counting begins tomorrow evening, after the store closes, and goes through Monday night.  A great weight will be lifted once inventory time is over... atleast until next year.
