Kids Today ConferenceFebruary 27, 2009On Wednesday, I had the pleasure of speaking at the Kids Today conference in San Antonio, on how companies in the children’s home furnishings industry can – and should – work with mommy bloggers to market products. There was, happily, clear interest in the topic, meaning manufacturers and retailers alike in this industry understand the influence bloggers have on the community of moms. Thank you to Kids Today magazine for the invitation and to members of the audience for your feedback. Marketers, what have you learned in your dealings with mom bloggers – what experiences would you like to share? Mom bloggers, what would you like marketers to know about the dos and don’ts of working with you most effectively? Posted by Stephanie Azzarone on February 27, 2009 | Comments (3)

In response to: Kids Today Conference Esther Sadowsky commented: Hi Stephanie. I was sorry that I could not attend the conference, but thanks for your reporting. I have a design service called Charm&Whimsy in NYC that has since 1983 created unique kids rooms.I have always designed and built most of the furniture that goes into the rooms, regardless of what is in style at the moment because children and families still need what they always have; homework space, reading place, sleeping, and spaces for all the things kids collect.Multi functional, spacesaving pieces will grow along with the child.
