A peek inside ABC Carpet & Home in NY

I am going to show photos of ABC Carpet & Home from kids, accessories, bedding, and more within the next few weeks.
The themes of nature, conservation and sustainability were constant on all floors of the store. Mingled with tribal & nomadic, whimsy & elegance, with strong emphasis on textures, soft & bold colors- but nature and sustainability were the strongest themes throughout.
First, a look at some of the kids rooms: Imagine living in a magical forest
where your bed is surrounded by sweet and furry woodland creatures,
where the line between nature and fantasy are blurred.
Or perhaps , your room is in an ice castle with icy pinks and blues where
sliver and crystals are mixed with polar bears and ice creatures.
You might even have a fantasy bedroom with mystical unicorns, faeries or exotic peacocks and birds. You could even have a tribal African inspired bedroom with wild animals and African textiles. For a little humor, there could be some silly colorful creatures, but I get ahead of myself. it was all there, although, I wish it had been less of a merchandising mess here and there, but the themes were wonderful with so much to choose from… more photos to come within the next week… enjoy!

Can I just say that I love the fact that on a post which includes thngis like work out tips and fave healthy snacks, the "You might also like" section directly underneath includes Chocolate Gooey Butter Cookies and Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes..which is a tad ironic because I just showed these very cupcakes to a friend today. She wasn't amused. Hmm. Maybe it was because she needed a recipe for church. And kids.
